Chad Pennington, QB - Pennington made it through the 2006 season without injury and had 3,352 yards and 17 TD's to show for it. He is not worth a high pick and in my opinion he is not worth a middle pick either. His potential for injury for average numbers just isnt worth it.
Thomas Jones, RB - Jones averaged 4.6 yards per carry for TB and the Bucs didn't want him. Jones has had three good seasons in a row in Chicago and the Bears didn't want him either. The Jets wanted him and got him. I wouldn't mind having him on my fantasy team either. He will not carry your team in the likes of Tomlinson but he will give you steady numbers with a very good week thrown in every once in a while. Expect around 1250 yards and 8 TD's in 2007. Jones has been fighting a leg injury but is expected to play in the season opener.
Laveranues Coles, WR - His QB's might keep changing every other season, but his numbers stay the same. Expect another 1000+ yards and 6 TD's.
Jerricho Cotchery, WR - Cotchery stepped up in 2006 to snag 82 passes for 961 yards and 6 TD's. Whether he can duplicate those numbers or not remains to be seen. Expect more in the realm of 750 yards and 5 TD's.
Chris Baker, TE - It seems we just keep waiting for Baker to have a big year. His yards continue to rise but have not broken over the 300 yd barrier yet. Though his receptions almost doubled over the previous two seasons, his yardage and TD's have not. Look for 250 yards and 3 TD's in 2007.
ROOKIES
There were no offensive players of any fantasy note drafted by the Jets.
